Does opening the quick menu work?
What did you do before it froze ?
What have you tried so far ?
No it's Didn't and I tried to restart many times and it's frozen on me and I did the troubleshooting one that didn't work when I launched back it it's took a while to load an it's finally load my screen frozen and I can't see my mouse anymore
I'm on it right now and it's still frozen my keyboard and mouse are not responding
Didn’t quite understand half of that sorry.
So you cannot put the shadow into windowed mode and close the stream?
The only way I can close it if I shut down my pc
I guess you’ll need to restart your actual machine and then when you load the app back up, go into the help section and issue a shutdown. Wait like 5 mins once says shadow is off and start again.
If issue persists, send app logs via the launcher help section, copy the logs code, open ticket with support explaining the issue in detail and include the logs code.
Okay I'm try that
@wooden juniper i tried to launhed the shadow desktop app & its says error code r-116 & its says sorry for the issue happend while trying to connect to your shadow pc
Internet service provider.. Who do you pay for your internet
t-mobile
Ah see that appear a lot lately, I guess they are throttling/blocking it.
Yeah I notice same thing happens to me when I’m on Verizon. I think it has to do with spikes in latency and it trying to resume connection for a brief moment. I usually hit the windows + Ctrl + q to close it out and reconnect the application and it clears up for me.
im using a t-mobile 5g home internet
and i just got off the phone with em im glad i already paid for my internet but my shadow still acting in desktop app but it let me used the web broswer i can 't talk to people when i used the web broswer version
Yeah the thing with home internet from cell providers is the latency isn’t always super low so at times when it spikes it’ll cause issues with shadow however with that said I’ve used it for hours on end with both mobile hotspot and home internet from cell providers and the key for me these few things;
-always have ipv4 under network settings enabled since they assign a ipv4 address
-when it freezes or give that r error reconnecting completely shut down shadow (via the web browser or the application itself)
Restart shadow wait a few minutes after it saying shadow is ready then launch
I’ve been using it since launch just about and I’ve been able to get on every-time with those steps after disconnecting or freezing. May take a few tries so gotta be persistent but once it’s going it shouldn’t happen for a while
ight im try it and i let you know if its worked
@tough raptor Iits keep saying sorry an issuse when trying to connect to your shadow pc
