#need help with slime vr

I thought the post would be about getting Shadow and Local on the same network.
USB forwarding an ethernet adaptor makes no sense to me
Forwarding devices is to use said device on Shadow.
Shadow is on Ethernet.. Forwarding would be something like a webcam, steering wheel etc.
You can use Tailscale or similar to get Shadow and local on same network.
It doesn't work I tried it
Hmm.. I have no clue about this
Or at least zerotier and Hamachi
I'm sure someone will come along that knows about this stuff. Where did you find this guide?
That was slimes official documentation
Righto. I know one of the mods was looking into Slime stuff. Edit the post title to be something to do with needing help setting up SlimeVR
Tailscale+virtualhere server on your local machine
Tailscale+virtualhere client on shadow
Connect from shadow to your local machine Tailscale IP with virtualhere
Forward your usb network device on shadow in virtualhere on Shadow
Connect your slimeVR on your local wifi
Start slime server on shadow
So I got them all to appear and they're tracking to a degree, but a lot of it seems to be tracking like improperly, if I move my leg forward it moves backwards awkwardly
Any ideas
Yeah frankly I don't know why they recommend forwarding an adapter. You can forward a subnet in Zerotier.

I mean go down to the device list and get the bridge zerotier ip (the device that has both zerotier and is sitting on your home network with bridging enabled). Here’s what that looks like for me: with the ip 192.168.2.1 EDIT: I assumed that you’re using a bridging device for this setup. If not, could you describe your whole network layout (...
I couldn't get it working with zerotier, I used tailscale and it worked
And for your issue... Calibration issue? Never tested slime trackers, so can't tell
