please can someone advise how I would contact support asap if my shadow account has been hacked and username been replaced with another email and therefore cannot talk to support

Probably, you will need to confirm indentity with Shadow.

But also why they have 2FA on accounts to stop this sort of thing.

yeah but they changed the username to a other email address and did not get any notification

I don't see how if you had 2fa. They wouldn't get that far.
