Streaming Problems

I have low mb/s for internet and sometimes it causes problems for streaming shadow I tried everything including lowering the bandwidth to 1 mbps and changing the setting to "prefer reliability" and turning on H.265 coding and sometimes it lags alot and there's times where it's completely smooth. Can someone please help me?

you dont even have the minimum recommanded for shadow which is 15. Are you on Wifi?

Except you buy wifi booster or try to do something with your modem/router, it will be hard. Could try with ethernet. But with this speed, thats not enough + instability from wifi

nop but with your modem/router sure. If you are near enough, use ethernet cable from your PC to your router/modem.

My Wi-Fi is literally in the same room and not even that far from me but usually when someone is watching videos on another computer on the same network the mbps drops to the 10's or around the teens area

mm maybe it s an issue on your computer. lets try something with your phone, do a speedtest on your phone and post the result

just to test if this is your computer or a general network issue

Alr so I had my mom test the internet speed and her's was 18 mbps download with a 1.8 mbps upload and 13 ms ping and mine was 16 mbps download with a 2.34 mbps upload and a 31 ms ping

yeah so, maybe your global speed from your ISP isnt "good". You should try with an ethernet cable in this case. you will have instability with wifi and with this speed, it will be hard

You must have an ethernet port on your computer, plug in into it and in your modem/router in a LAN port

is the LAN port have a logo on it on the back of the router to indicate that it's a LAN port?
