Whenever I try to join a game in fortnite it says that a VPN is detected. I have looked in the past posts and it says to restart shadow for a new IP. I tried turning off shadow and starting it back up but the issue persists. Am I doing it wrong or is there another way? Any help?

It's not just turning Shadow off. You have to wait 10 minutes.

I did I went into the menu and pressed the red turn off button, waited like 10 minutes and it didnt work. Do I wait longer?

Just shut Shadow down using the task bar, as with any other computer.
But if it doesn't fix your issue, contact Shadow support.
