So i tried to sign up for shadow pc but at some point the language switched from english to french. Is this a known bug that is worked on? Otherwise you may miss some signups when users are hit with a French language wall and feel like this service is currently a bit unreliable or just don't understand french.

No what I know i should not be using that. What is it with VPN / Proxy that affects the site language?

If you’re using a VPN than is connected on France, it will display the France site, it shows the page using the language of your region if it’s available

Argh, i really dislike stupid discord bots that deletes messages, if it's not good let me edit it so i don't have to rewrite everything from start instead of deleting it because it contained a link. Anyway, I am in Japan right now but live in sweden normally, if i google what my location is it will locate me in Japan, My os and browser are set to english, i set the language on my profile on the site to be in english too so no idea why it is turning french...

Okay, I understand
Maybe it can be a confusion of the site because Shadow is not available in Japan and fallback in French language than is the main language
Try entering again and when you’re on the French page, there it have to be a flag icon anywhere on the website, click it and change it to the English flag

Endsail user live in Sweden, which is a supported country. What I understand, is to try to purchase from Japan, on Shadow Sweden shop, but it redirect on the French site, for a unknown reason.

So @last remnant. As Azmiko said, everytime Shadow will redirect on the French site, change the flag, to Sweden, which it matter a lot in this case ( you can't change datacenters).

Earlier it would just direct me back to the french site if i entered en-SE, but it seems like it stays at en-SE now, except for the chat bot on the site that wants to talk to me in french for some odd reason... Is this a french company or something?

I think than Shadow is a French company
But the bot have to also change the language to English, but don’t worry about it

Well, i managed to get trough the site and order my shadow not, going to be interesting to see how much latency i get while on vacation in Japan.

So in fullscreenn the mouse cursor is lagging, I have a latency of 271 ms, i guess thats because I'm connected to a VM in Sweden. My framerate is 20 FPS, does latency have an affect on FPS in the Usage Stats panel?

Hi, latency don’t affect framerate, I think is because you’re in the desktop and in the desktop you don’t need to be rendering more FPS
The FPS are dynamic and depends of the task than you’re making

I do not understand. Why would I not want the screen to update 60+ times per second when in desktop mode? Mouse movement, videos, animations., just like on my local computer i want to see smooth movements in desktop.. Is it stated anywhere that they choose to lock the framerate in desktop mode?

Hmm seems like the framerate drops when the overlay is open,, then maybe its not an issue.

Hi, when you watch videos/play games the framerate increase so you can see it smoothly
When you’re in the desktop only navigating through it, it doesn’t matter the FPS

I don’t know, I think they base of depending if the task needs more resources or less
It’s not the same playing a game/watching a video than navigating through the internet/through the desktop, one is more resource needing than the other

As I said I base on what I think they base to reduce/increase the resources used by Shadow
I don’t know how they do, so what I’m saying is only suppositions of what I think it does

I see, i guess ill have to keep an eye on that FPS counter and see how it changes depending on what I do. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experience of shadow as i'm new here and trying to figure out how stuff works.
