I want to stream directly from shadow rather than stream my entire shadow screen.

I've downloaded the necessities that I have on my laptop onto shadow. My camera works fine as a webcam on my PC but Shadow won't even recognized that it is connected at all. It's frustrating.

Not every camera will work. Ideally it should be H.265 so that it doesn't overwhelm the USB over IP stack. Low latency is also required for it to work. You could encode the video stream locally to make it easier.

My connection with shadow is generally pretty good. I'm not sure what H.265 means.

The compression used by the camera when streaming video from it.

I am unsure how to find that. I am using a Canon Rebel SL 2

So is this HEVC thing something you can change? Or is it one of those "if your camera doesn't have it it just doesn't have it" type of deals?
