My shadow says password expired

When i get into Shadow I login and it says password expired then i type it in and it doesnt work please help

If you used the Ready-To-Go setting when setting up your account, you may have an expired password notice approximately 1-3 months after activation. To resolve the issue leave the "Password" (first) field empty or blank, you'll be able to specify a new password or you can leave all three fields blank.
