Power+ is the new default for new orders those on Power or base shadow can upgrade to it for 5 (more if on base shadow ofc)extra per month. Changes are C drive increased to 512GB and ram increased to 28GB compared to the previous Power.

Oh. Will I have to reinstall software again like if it’s a fresh install. Also will it be windows 11?

The upgrade isn’t and won’t be automatic due to change in price, it has to be opted into.

If have the 256GB one a reset is supposed to be triggered, but seems in most cases it’s not for whatever reason, some have been able to manually extend the volume but it depends on if there’s a partition between the two slices of 256GB.

And the install image for shadow is defaulted to Win10, even for Power still. Would be nice for option of windows image to be installed down the line though.

@thorn lynx - Thank you for the update. How do we request the upgrade please to Shadow PC + from our existing Shadow PC?

From Shadow PC 256GB > 512GB. There should be an upgrade path on accounts end of the month. Otherwise the only way currently is to cancel, when sub runs out, order again as it’s the new default.

But with this would come activation fees, so best to contact support first to see what they advise about that. Personally best to wait till end of the month to see if the option is added.

Okay great, thank you for that. I will wait until end of July. Looking forward to Shadow PC + as well as Power +! Appreciate the upgrades the Shadow team are making available 🙂

Power+ upgrade should be on people’s accounts already and is possible to go from ShadowPC(256GB and 512GB)

Should be under where your plan is listed. If it’s not, it could be there’s no stock currently.

Righto, weird that it appears for some and not others. Must be a stock thing, out of curiosity if you went to the main shadow site and started an order with your location, does Power appear or just the base spec?

Hi. Back here again. Can’t believe it’s already August. Yikes. So I got the option saying upgrade to power just want to check if this is the option I need to go through? I can’t see shadow pc + on my options.
