Shadow freezes on startup
Hi, have you tried initializating it without dual screen, login and then activating dual screen?
Yes I have tried that when the screen displays it is just stuck and I can't do anything
Enable Display safe mode via the Help panel. Usually solves display issues, once in display safe mode close stream and then start as normal 🤞
Safe mode is what I've tried as well but it sadly has the same issue
Can you send a screenshot of what it looks like
Yeah 1 moment
And for some reason my bandwidth is stuck at 0 maybe that's why I'm not sure
They aren't even moving
Hmm..Even with a static image it would at least hover around 0.1 .. And you said display safe mode still tries to initiate dual screen and even tries to when dual screen is disabled? How about completely disconnecting the second display from laptop?
Yes I have removed the hdmi from the computer but it didn't work
Issue shutdown for shadow, once says Shadow is off, close the app. Uninstall all Shadow apps you have installed.
Go to AppData and delete all Shadow related folders.
Restart
Download fresh Shadow app installer
I have done those steps
Only other options would be to reset Shadow completely. Or send app logs and open ticket with support including the logs code, date and your local time along with details of issue and steps taken.
I have message support about this and I added those details but they said I would have to do a factory reset and it might not solve the issue.
And now the usage stats aren't working
I would like to add it also freezes on mobile
Yeah that seems to indicate an issue with the Shadow software on the Shadow.. Like overlay versions or what not.. All I can think of.. Which tbf i would just reset to see if fixes it.
Alright I just really didn't want to because I've had to do it before and I had to reinstall everything but I have way more things now
It also started happening after I install nvdia experiment
Nvidia what now?
My bad GeForce experience
Hmm doesn't cause this sort of issue, so that's strange.
Unless you mean locally installed.. Has anything changed on host machine?#
No I have a amd graphics card
