#Frameskipping in shadow

Post a screenshot of the Shadow quick menu stats set to show last 10 mins after playing.
It's not from the same game(s) that i have the most issues with since i have been playing a different game where it either happens less or since its a 2d game i dont notice it as much
That packet loss isn't a good sign, nor the very inconsistent bandwidth usage, do you use wifi ?
I'd suggest restarting your router to see if packet loss goes.
Also frames are going to 140+ not 120
Which is weird, i set it manually to 120 so how does it keep going back to 144?
This is what i use on ShadowPC
Hmm, so the quick menu settings are set to match local display?
This is what i use on my personal PC
I set it manually to 120
I see, what is the true refresh of the display?
And you don't have it set to auto match? Seems odd it would select 144 unless set to auto match and is 144 display. But could just be a detection bug. Does Beta behave the same?
The monitor is 144hz but i can only set it to 120 on my pc and not higher
but even on the monitor settings i got it set to 120
Weird it once again reset itself to 144
This is from the game where i experience the most issues on. Or atleas the most frequent frameskips, it happened 4 times in the last 10 mins
Hi, can you try beta version?
Where can i find beta version?
Im downloading it now (found it on the website) Can i ask what is different from the regular and beta version
You’ll see in #🆕┃changelogs
Still happens in the Beta version. (the game i was playing only went up to 60fps)
Bandwidth still seems very inconsistent and still small bouts of packet loss.
Does lowering the bandwidth/bitrate help at all?
Ill try that
Tested it on 35mb/s instead of 50mb/s which it recommended but its the worst its ever been
Did the beta version do anything for you improvement wise?
I've similar issue with the latest update. It seems recent changes causing this. I mainly play with 60hz and 60 FPS Limit on Shadow. The decoding FPS is falling below the 60 FPS to around 54 FPS, which causing stutter. Already created a support ticket about this. Its pretty strange. When i switch to 120hz with 60 FPS limit, the decoding FPS stays at 60 FPS, its my current "workaround".
I installed forza horizon 5 last night and am also experiencing a lot of stuttering. Performance is around 100fps and I don’t have any latency issues or packet loss from what I can gather
Made a video about this, also send it to the support team: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA1xm2s6GhU You can clearly see, the game has 60 FPS but the decoding FPS goes below 60.
The game i get the most issues on is Destiny 2 and what is even weirder is that when that game is open on shadow it makes my entire pc get issues. For example i am watching a video on my own pc and when i am in destiny 2 on shadow it freezes the video (still plays the audio) and when i minimize the game the video keeps playing again. How does stuff on shadow control my own pc?
