Hello, while updating my shadow, it has been stuck on “Updating your Shadow…” now for the past 20 - 30 mins.

maybe you have the current version and the beta version and it's confusing the file locations
i am unsure where the beta version installs. but you could try to uninstall the current version then install the beta and see if that fixes it
sometimes apps will install to the same version and it will try to overwirght the current version with the beta. and it will get stuck

Deleted all of the shadow folders in my appdata and program files
Installed the beta and it’s still stuck

see if you can install the origenal one.
if you can't install. you could contact shadow support. maybe they know why. maybe the beta is not out yet because shadow just did update there current version. so many beta is not working
but i mean. beta would be the same installer as the current one. because thats where the current update comes from
but i don't keep up to date with the news. so i am unsure if the beta is out yet or not
sometimes there are trases in your registry as well
The beta is functional.
Stop uninstalling / installing the launcher.
OP is stuck in an internal software components installation loop. It can happen. It's directly in the VM.
So uninstalling the launcher doesn't do anything.
Nothing to do for now except wait / contact support if it last more than 30 minutes.
