Leaving shadow power on

I have a game i want to download but its it kidna slow at downloading and weights over 100gb, can i just leave my pc streaming shadow over night while it downloads it?

i was downloading gta 5 which is 100gb and it took ~30 mins so i dont think its a problem.

Shadow shuts itself down when you're not physically active on it.

It's on purpose.

And Shadow uses it's own internet after all.

It's speed is for sure fast unless you have a bad speed in a certain region

Say that to Microsoft flight simulator servers, it will take around 3-4 hours according to my calculations

It's pretty much the case for me as well though I didn't finish the download

Just that it wasn't fast as I thought it would be

So the shadow will turn itself off when you aren’t like pressing buttons and moving mouse on it? After how long tho? If it is like 30 minutes then I might come back to shadow to move the mouse a bit to download or smth. Cause I couldn’t find any rules that prohibit from doing so

But yeah basically is it possible to leave shadow on, and are there any rules prohibit doing so?

I don't think there is a rule prohibition but more you try to show that you are actively on it

They did this so you don't accidently leave it running and waste their power

there are a lot of options to mess with to trick it

Ah right. It could be a problem if it is automated.. though I don't know anyways

Unless you manually move it every once in a while, then it won't be a problem I believe
