I just turned my shadow on this morning and it’s doing this forever. It has gone to the “this is taking longer than expected” screen 3 times. Is it safe to shut down and try again?

It claims to be updating

But I’ve never seen an update screen like this

Not in shadow anyway. Normally this happens when I’m not using it

Some Windows updates can do that at startup.

I wouldn't shut Shadow down while a Windows update is installing.

I’m not sure if I should just give it time or? I mean it hasn’t been that long, maybe 10 minutes

I wouldn't do anything unless it lasts more than an hour at least.

I’m on dc so that could be why the update is especially slow
