I just need my ethernet to show up in my shadow so i can connect my Slime trackers
You shouldn't be able to forward USB Ethernet adapters.
Shadow prevents it.
As they do with mouses and keyboards.
What do you really want to do ? Have Shadow and you local computer on the same local network?
If so, create a virtual local network.
With either Tailscale, Zerotier or Hamachi.
Connect the lan cable and ensure the usb forwarding is set up for that adapter.
Shadow pc should show a new Ethernet connection in the network and sharing center.
Make sure that the connection is set to private, keep shadows main Ethernet connection alone.
Once all of slimes are connected to your WiFi router that the Ethernet cable is also connected to, launch slime vr server on shadow pc. The slimes should show up and be reporting their rotation data.
Configure slimes following the official documentation.
Launch your vr game and enjoy.
These are the instructions from the SlimeVR Docs
There's is no USB forwarding for USB Ethernet adapters. This is disabled on purpose.
Then what am I supposed to be doing I know people who use slime with there shadows which is why this is driving me nuts
I mean, why wouldn't it work with a virtual local network ?
I believe latency but I’m asking around to see if I just misunderstood something
