#is everyone in Texas that upgraded to power having stutter and latency issues?

The reason is because when you upgraded you switched Data centers. Probably to new York which is probably further.
Its weird honestly i upgraded also with a new account and last night i was playing cyberpunk 2077 max settings on 1440p even with rtx enabled i was playing smooth as butter then today im back to the hell zone ping where everything is smooth then i just freeze for a mili second
Yea I know, they put me on Canada 😐 Wish this was made more apparent cause I would’ve waited if I knew
I got switched to NY, luckily I’m in Kansas so it wasn’t THAT bad of a switch
I got switched to Washington from NY, I'm in lag hell aswell
Yeah it sucks
Yep, was in TX data center and now in NY and it is horrible since going to Power
If they can’t fix this I’m gonna ask about a refund because they didn’t do enough to tell us this was gonna happen. Maybe a notice on top of the upgrade button. Feels like I’m wasting 50 dollars now because I can’t even play it
Yeah, they told me that I just have to cancel, wait for it to lapse then rebuy it if I want to switch back. I asked if I would be getting a refund and they said no.
Same here, there was no mention of this unless you specifically watched their live streams or read their blogs. No warnings on their main site at all.
Same here, all last night it was fine for me lol
Also actually helpful tip from support. Last support told me to cancel and wait, this person was like “just use a different email bruh” still bull, but this one is actually helpful
I was when I first got on it because it was so bad. (It was during that 6-7 latency spike and I was playing VR) so I contacted support. And they were not helpful at all at first.
All I’m hoping is once they do add a TX center they allow us to switch somehow, even tho apparently it’s impossible to switch lmao
I’m in Kansas so I am close to DC but im way close to TX lol
Good luck on getting a refund I heard they don't issue them
If you think it's really that bad you can dispute it
Arlo isn’t gonna help you.
This is what I get after all the testing. No real answers or fix’s. It doesn’t matter what it seems like it’s literally unplayable
If that’s the case that’s scummy because they couldn’t even do a good job of letting us know about changing servers. I’ll just buy a pc and stop using shadow tbh
Same here. They weren’t clear about this.
I’m gonna get a refund thank god.
Happy for you
I was in NY data center previously and latency was 27-30ms. Moved to where ever with the OVH migration, was still 27-30ms. Did the power upgrade and I’m now 77ms. It’s pretty rough.
Weird cause NY people migrated to Washington DC, which is where power is too, so shouldn’t have changed. @high salmon Unless they somehow moved you to Montreal for no reason at all, only support would know.
According to ip and such, I’m in New York with power now. I was NY, then DC, and appear to be NY again, with almost triple the latency.
I’m in SW Ohio so…either works for me. But latency was a touch better with DC. I don’t really care, if latency gets back down to around 30ms. It’s weird because the interface says it’s like 77ms, but it feels pretty good. So maybe the calculation is off? Although a ping in CMD to my shadow IP is 75+ms…
There’s no NY Datacentre it’ll be a GeoIP. I dunno what the issue could be, seems a lot of routing issues over there at the moment.
