#How to make Steam auto launch at startup?

I must be doing something wrong.

I've setup Steam as auto start and auto start in big picture mode from the preferences in Steam. But still Steam doesn't auto start at login.
Also when Steam starts it doesn't have focus so it doesn't register Xbox controllers input right away.

Help?

Yes. Once you launch steam, you go to settings and let me look

#

Settings, interface tab, run steam when my computer starts check box, then click ok.

that's what I did already

Ohhh

#

This is the best I could do for now.

#

I could dig deeper but I have stuff to do today. 😅

When I do launch Steam from Desktop I do get into bigpicture mode right away, so the issue seems to be that Shadow doesn't auto start Steam itself

#

I'll keep digging 🤷‍♂️

Probably

But some guy said he deleted config and userdata folder from base steam folder then relogged in

In that article

It's more a steam issue or windows issue than a shadow one specifically. Seems to be a handful of different stuff on steam forums, some worked some didn't 😄

Windows seems to think it should all work

I think I fixed it by updating windows. I restarted after that and Steam finally launched at start and straight into big picture mode. Getting there 🙂
