anyone else get a blurry screen when trying to use 4k? | Shadow (ENG) | Page 1

Whenever I use 4k inside of shadow I get a blurry screen that shifts around, it’s hard to explain. Im using my laptop and outputting to my 4k 120hz tv and everything looks nice and sharp, but when I open shadow it gets bad.

It looks just fine before I use shadow so I would assume so, but I can look into it. I was thinking that’s the most plausible solution

What is the graphics processor being used ?

Be it dedicated GPU or CPU Integrated

I know it’s a Radeon Vega let me check the numbers

The cpu is Ryzen 5 3500u with Radeon Vega mobile gfx 2.10 ghz. The gpu on display adapter says Radeon Vega 8

Okay so that should be more than capable of 4K decoding it’s pretty recent, are the drivers up to date?

It doesn’t look as bad anymore but I’m getting really bad framedrops, even when I’m not in a game

And in game I put my resolution to 1080 and it’s still bad stuttering

Is this set to show last 5 or 10mins? Bandwidth looks more erratic than your frames.

Yea when I turn the bitrate down it gets better

The frames don’t say anything but it’s a constant stutter

I busted out my old ghost to see if it can do 4k fine 😂

Ghost can do 4K 60Hz 70Mbps while using H265. It’ll get a bit warm though, but thankfully no longer summer lol.

Cool I’ll probably use the ghost unless I wanna do 120 which works fine on my laptop through tv for 1080
