Hi Folks,

I've just upgraded from WW2-G2 to use an Orbiter 2.5 with my A4T + Dragon Ace toolhead. Previously everything was working just fine. But after swapping the extruder i've faced constant underextrusion issues. Things i've noticed:

  • There are gaps in the walls
  • Top layer has noticable gaps.

Things I've done to troubleshoot this:

  • Rotation distance has been calibrated
  • Thumbscrew is tightened
  • Printed EM calibration to check bottom & top layer issues

A bit confused on what else might be needed. Do i need to significantly increase EM when swapping extruders?

Funny, I upgraded from an Orbiter 2.5 to a WWG2 😂.

EM should be filament dependant not extruder dependant so long as rotation distance was calibrated to within ~0.1mm over 100mm
