im setting up my first CB1 on my first voron and i cant get it to show up on wifi. i tried reflashing the SD Card, and even swapped to a different card for setup. im at the point where i need to get the IP address but i cant find it. it doesnt show up on my router, and even Angry IP Scan doesnt detect it. im building it right next to my computer and 10ft away from my router so distance isnt an issue here. any suggestions on anything else i can try?

How are you connecting to the network? are you defining the Wifi credentions on the image directly or doing any post setup? Because looks like the printer is not connected to any Wifi, then it would not show up.

connecting to the network was the issue. i was going through various YouTube vids for the manta/cb1 setup and i just followed their instructions and editing the WIFI information on the SD card. i was actually able to get into it lasting after i saw a recommendation to use the Ethernet. but i ran into another issue of not being able to get the printer config to instal. "/home/biqu/printer_data/config/generic-bigtreetech-xxx.cfg' does not exist Include file '/home/biqu/printer_data/config/generic-bigtreetech-xxx.cfg' does not exist Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "RESTART" command to reload the config and restart the host software."

i haven't tried accessing it without Ethernet connected but i should be able to get in (hopefully) since i have the IP now and will report back after. since i have a different issue now, i will try it without Ethernet, and post about my other issue separately

If you're connected through ethernet, your IP will be for the ethernet and not for the wifi. So if you intend to remove the cable, make sure you have your wifi configured first.

#

If you're on SSH, issuing:

ip -a
#

should show all interfaces and their respective IPs

#

for the config, looks like you're using a generic name somewhere -xxx.cfg that needs to be replaced with the correct one.
