hello
Your cube looks like you might need some PA adjustment
what are you using for your input shaper settings
the x-axis double peak could be a loose screw in the toolhead, or a loose screw in the x-carriage (CL tap) or a loose screw in the xy joints
the 125 hz stuff could be your CL tap
Thank you for your input. I didnt tune my print settings yet, just wanted to print the cube since its requiered and maybe there is something to see anyway.
will hunt for a loose screw.
the 125hz doesnt bother me as much.
the 125 hz could be the problem. A loose screw on x-carriage is your CL tap
did you double check the screws on the xy joints
leave the screws on toothed idlers be. They do not look to tight
Yes i checked every screw on the X-Axis. only "loose" was the one on the left for the toothedidlers. didnt tighten it
it is up to you what you want to do
you are getting EI on both x and Y, with y's accel in the solid normal range for a trident
I think with some PA tuning the artifacts on the cube will go away
If there are no more clues then "maybe a loose screw" i think i can live with it. The printers are for students and most wont notice the time i put in to hunt little things like that
thank you for helping me
It could also be umbilical potentially.
But, it really comes down to how much time you want to chase it
the rest of the evening 😂
oh then I would look at the umbilical
what exactly should i look at? i have the same mod for the other printers and there arent these problems
How to route your umbilical: Three ways for Trident and three ways for V2.
Special Thanks to Schonclee for asking the question about which umbilical routing is preferred.
V2 starts about at about 6:30
Galvanic Bowden tube Guide (use the short arm for Trident, and the long arm for V2):
