well, will print tomorrow and reply again

@craggy canyon do you have your motors set similar to the picture, where x and x1 are diagonal to each other, and the y and y1 are diagonal to each other

craggy canyon
junior hollow
#

can you post your printer.cfg and a picture show the entire front of the printer (doors open) so we can see the gantry and umbilcial setup please

Okay, I do some shots

#

Orca Slicer

dim widget
craggy canyon
#

8200mm/sΒ² accel and 250mm/s speed

dim widget
#

Outer walls?

#

Screenshot would be easiest

#

We do not care about the other slicer settings

craggy canyon
#

Ah you meaning the slicer settings

dim widget
#

Yup

#

Same as u posted above but the entire SPEED tab

craggy canyon
#

Well this I can send you later cause right now i am in the way to the vetdoc

dim widget
#

There is definitely a lot of VFAs going on

craggy canyon
#

Yeah i see them too

dim widget
#

Ringing close to 0

#

PA is not tuned well

junior hollow
#

Issues I see in print
1: PA
2: belt tension - causing VFA
3: EM

Other issues:
I think some of your graph issues may be due to your umbilical.
might want to take off the cable chain and go with a standard umbilical setup using the short galvanic

craggy canyon
#

What is a standard umbilical setup with the short galvanic?

junior hollow
craggy canyon
#

Ah nice will search for the printfiles and use this mod

dim widget
craggy canyon
#

here are the speeds

dim widget
#

ok so accels are still at ender 3 level πŸ˜„

craggy canyon
#

didn't changed them

dim widget
#

this is your outer wall accel limit

#

u always have to pick the lower one of Y and X graphs as the limit

#

recommendation - 200 or 500 is a good value

#

so in your case 13500

#

for everything else u can go faster. especially infill

#

outer wall accel depends on your quality standards.

#

infill will be limited by your hotend flow rate. so u can print it at 40 or 70k accel. whatever

#

u want to print in the green ranges

#

apply those settings and reprint the cube

#

before printing make sure u update your config with the correct input_shaper values

#

u must have 6 values in total

shaper X
freq X
damping X

shaper Y
freq Y
damping Y

craggy canyon
#

thanks for help! very nice support here.

#

should i comment this part out of my printer.cfg max_accel: 14000 # Maximum acceleration (max 4000) in this section [printer] # Printer configuration kinematics: corexy # Printer type: corexy max_velocity: 600 # Maximum velocity (max 300) max_accel: 14000 # Maximum acceleration (max 4000) max_z_velocity: 50 # Maximum Z-axis velocity max_z_accel: 100 # Maximum Z-axis acceleration minimum_cruise_ratio: 0.5 # Default 0.5 square_corner_velocity: 5 # Square corner velocit

dim widget
#

u can have max_accel 1.000
slicer 100k

printer will print with 100k

craggy canyon
#

ah good to know, thanks for teaching!

#

feeling wrong doing the settings ^^

dim widget
#

with 100% it will take the 5k

#

thats pretty damn slow.

#

especially since u print outer walls with 13k πŸ˜„

#

set it to 20k to begin with

#

keep in mind - the faster u go, the more temp and cooling is needed

dim widget
#

u print inner walls faster than infill? πŸ˜„

craggy canyon
#

these are stock settings, i dont know what they values are doing

dim widget
#

then just ask πŸ˜‰

craggy canyon
#

this is my first printer and I try to do my best

dim widget
#

infill is whats inside an object

craggy canyon
#

can you send me good startvalues, I tried to adpot everything you writing

dim widget
# craggy canyon

600 will be a bit much, but if u have your flow rate limited, its fine πŸ™‚

#

those values are things u have to play with, see which ones make u happy

craggy canyon
#

okay my journey will end at speed&quality balanced

dim widget
#

AWD and 9mm belts are made for speed. thats the whole point people go AWD

For funsies drop int/ext perimeter to 5k and reprint cube

craggy canyon
#

5k int/ext

craggy canyon
# harsh onyx CF X beam, SB

Whats wrong with carbon fiber on X? And is SB meaning the Stealht Burner? Is CF X and SB not ideal? Cause SB is to heavy?

dim widget
#

the resin used to create the beam is in 99% cases too weak

craggy canyon
#

Okay, so I have to swap it out for less vibrations. Do you have an advise for an good alternative?

dim widget
#

normal 2020 extrusion

#

nothing fancy needed

craggy canyon
#

I'm going to give the suggestion a try β€” I even still have a few 2020 profiles left over from other projects. But I’ll need to figure out a good way to mount them properly and cut them cleanly, since I don’t have a band saw or table saw yet.

craggy canyon
#

Another question, my printer sit with his rubber feets on an rubber mat, is this also incomparable?

dim widget
craggy canyon
#

I just use this mat cause living really close to a train station and everytime a heavy train passes by the whole house is shaking, to reduce this in my print I tought this could help ... silly me.

Is there a compatible cnc metal version on the marked?

harsh onyx
#

I have some on the way already

craggy canyon
#

Can you send me an link, cause I am very new to 3d printing ans all the new special words are confusing me a bit

harsh onyx
#

Misumi is a very good manufacturer of 2020 extrusions

#

however, you can source one yourself, it'll be the same, as long as you order the same specx

craggy canyon
#

Whats wrong, i just tension the belts with the CNC Screws at the back and derack my x-Axis... and now this showing up.

junior hollow
#

can you run input shaper please

craggy canyon
#

yes i will

craggy canyon
junior hollow
#

going back to the beginning I think you may need to try a new toolhead. One that is not so top heavy for AWD

craggy canyon
#

for example? - well I just build this printer with all stock stuff it come with

junior hollow
#

dragon burner, xol, etc

craggy canyon
#

I deracking the printer again an meassure again, dont know why its so off

junior hollow
#

are your motors setup like this

craggy canyon
#

yes they are

junior hollow
#

or similar where the x's and y's are diagonal from each other

craggy canyon
#

they a running diagonal

#

and where your y and x is in this diagram i tension the belt with the screws

#

before this I tensioned them on the toolhead

craggy canyon
#

well I found one issue with the cnc tensionier from siboor

#

they are to tight

#

and wont slide free enough, I loosen the screws a bit and now the tensioner can slide

junior hollow
#

after you tension belts, I find it is helpful to run vibrations profile. This redistributes the belt tension. After vibrations profile is run then remeasure belts

dim widget
craggy canyon
#

yeah I am waiting for my g2e extruder, cause my cw2 bearings are broke. they can move on the shaft and the shaft the scratches on the strepper motor. So i upgrading my extruder first.

dim widget
craggy canyon
#

Hey, thank you for asking. I am waiting for parts and actually on a longer business trip - if it's okay my case can be marked as solved - i will open a new one when the changes doesn' t working the way they should.
