I am ready to tack wiring next on my 300mm 2.4r2, but I am looking at this Octopus Pro, and realizing that most of the connectors are really tight against the power supply
Also, it’s pretty far away from the rear of the bed, where most of the electronics are connected
Is there a reason the board is so far away from the Z chain?? Can I just switch them? Or is there some other reason for the delay placement that I just don’t understand yet?

you can re-arrange the electronics bay to make it more convenient, there's no real hard-and-fast rules, rather recommendations, but you can do whatever you like to make your life easier

I ended up running the two DIN rails the other direction (along Y instead of along X, if that makes sense). That way, the controller can be reasonably close to the Z chain and bed temp sensor and whatnot at the back of the printer, but still ahve the PSU stuff next to the power inlet.
And the printed brackets for mounting things can often be flipped around (or mounted differently between it's parts) to shift things a bit with regards to the rail.
