please ping me or reply to this message when u are ready
take your time, no rush
Belt tension measured via spectrometer app included in mobilraker app
~110hz on both
Ignore previous input shapers. Belts had some clear issues that are resolved now (tension was way off).
I think I'm ready
u think ๐ ?
if u are not sure, read the guidelines again and compare what u posted
Only thing that is missing is the voron cube, I noticed others didn't post that, if I need to I can print it
if its part of the guidelines, it must be posted ๐ - talking about the cube according to the mentioned print settings
Alright I will go about that then and get back
sounds good.
having a very close look at the 2 post i linked in the guidelines is also quite smart ๐
Last one I promise, found another small issue I resolved. Printing with these settings
To hold the nh36 cable?
I was using a clothes hanger before and worked reasonably well
This guy yeah?
yes
Yeah I will look at it
I'll go and do the testing on the nh36 in a few and come back
before it had way too high noise, couldn't even determine axes map.
But since then I noticed the top 2 a4t bolts had backed out, and fixed it so I will go back and try it
axis map is in beta, it may not work right
I will try both then just to see, but still do belts/shaper
And then voron cube print
This is with the nitehawk enabled.
I do get a warning with the nitehawk of high noise of 900 or so
Where was the warning?
Looks good. May want to redo pa using the higher accel you are using for printing
Came up in the console when I was doing the axes mapping, so I disregarded it. Also gravity was wrong by a little bit.
Will do! Turns out I think I fixed the issues while collecting data, but I appreciate another set of eyes!
What does the klipper accelerometer_query say
Currently Mid print, but this is what came out accelerometer values (x, y, z): 1776.494261, -2145.067394, -11251.130318. Can definitely try static later
accelerometer values (x, y, z): 2738.761985, -0.000000, -9696.697840 This is after print complete, printer static and hotend fan off
These are after printing and installing the galvanized wire holder (no wire yet, but bowden and umbilical tied together a bit.
Donโt worry about frixโs axis map.
Your shapers look fine
You do not need the piano wire
Use ei shaper for x and y graph, input the corresponding values into printer.cfg and run vibrations profile
@dreamy edge do we want @unborn walrus to set accel per herz to 100?
Its at 60, which seems low
Before sweeping 75 was default, klipper changed to 60 with sweeping. I use 100.
The value is a tradeoff between having enough energy in the system to get a good value, and not going to high that you drown everything out
For them 60 looks good
But @unborn walrus try running at 100 accel_per_hz and see what it says
Also should I be doing sweeping on this or no sweeping? Have gotten conflicting info in the past and the above was no sweeping
non-sweeping. Pulse only is what you want
Ok cool I'll run that at some point today during lunch and see what we got
This is at 100accel per hz
Question for future reference, why EI over MZV recommended?
I like 0 vibrations remaining (vibr%). Since shaketune feeds damping ratio back into the shaper calculations you do not get 0 vibr on mzv.
Frix states anything less than 5% should be good, but I like 0
Got it!
Vibrations profile incoming, do you want with the one done at 60 hz per accel or the one at 100 hz per accel?
or both?
I would say 60hz was working for you, set it back and leave it
install TMC autotune
https://github.com/andrewmcgr/klipper_tmc_autotune
and rerun
No special autotune settings right? Just the standard? Already made sure the motors match with mine (exactly matches the documentation based on what I have in my 2.4)
no special settings
which shaper for y did you go with, and what accel
nope
try int/ext accel of 4500 with int/ext perimeter speed of 110-125mm/s
print a voron cube
3 perimeters/bottom 0 top/infill
Ok
Is there a guide anywhere to reading the vibrations profile? The documentation is either not enough or over my head.
First layer squish a little high
Click on Reths profile here and u will find his youtube channel
As well as GitHub
PA6-CF
Out of curiosity I did a vibrations profile with the cartographers onboard adxl vs the toolhead board, results below, unclear if it means anything
Thats not useful for us unfortunately
CF and GF hide ringing
Also your filament is wet
Dried for 36 hours at 90C. But can go back and dry it again, what works best? Have a range of filaments available
Any paticular color as well?
Grey works
I have blue, does that work? Also white and black, and yellow. All ABS.
blue is good
@unborn walrus you are in good hands
Slight vfa on the x, try 150 mm/s
Int/ext perimeter and turn off auto slowdown and auto cooling
Yes cooling at one value and always on
Alright I set it to 50% at all times. Reprinting
Line across the top is from the ring in the center failing at the top
Hard to capture in pictures (I'm printing a cube spy now.) but to my eye significantly better vfa on X
Nevermind read ring as ringing
Yeah, I'm thinking that might be step over causing an extrusion issue
On that, I think the gap there has more to do with the catastrophic failure of that center ring. Regardless reprinting at 135.
New cube at 135
looks pretty good
i would say u are good to go
u have to tune PA but thats something for #slicers_and_print_help
keep in mind, as the name of the channel states #1308016330326413393 , we focus on basic help here.
