The weird imperial unit spring wire that I can’t find locally.
Is there an equivalent on aliexpress or something?
Does anyone have calibration value with a normal metric unit sping wire?

there are lots of weird non-metric ways to give the size of a piano wire size (AWG, a couple different ways of using inches, and "piano wire size" which is its own thing altogether). I don't think any of them are super-precise, and just going by the closest size you can find is probably good enough.

I would guess anything sold as "0.8mm" is going to be the same thing.
