Extruder Calibration (e-steps)

After converting to Mainsail and updating Klipper I can seem to get the Extruder Calibration right. I after running 100mm though the extruder it is only dispensing 84. That seems to be kind of extreme to adjust with rotation_distance. Even with the adjustment I am still way short of what should be coming out.
My printer is a 2.4 350 running the original Afterburner set up.

Might be a stupid question, but you are running a 1.8° stepper for your extruder? Also, make sure the gear ratio is right. You're currently using the ratio for afterburner/CW1, not stealthburner/CW2.

they said they're running afterburner

It was the recommended one on the BOM when it was built in 2020. It is a 17HS08-1004S the spec says 1.8. I just need to get it up and running so I can build the stealthburner.

I had an issue that turned out to be a broken wire in the chain and recently swapped the tmc2208 for a tmc2209 when I was trouble shooting the issue and never swapped back

ok, that's fine, just wanted to check as your config has tmc2208's for everything else

or is it not compatible with the SKR1.3

the skr can take tmc2209's

it is quieter than the tmc2208 but that is the only differance, and amazon had overnight shipping on the tmc2209 was the main reason for the swap while I was troubleshooting the issue

What speed are you extruding at for the Extruder calibration? Through the hotend or with it removed? If through which hotend?

I am going through a Dragon HF at 10mm/s
