After reading about hobby for years, I finally decided to jump in with zero prior experience. After considering off the shelf printers and a variety of kits, I decided that the open source nature of the project and community supporting Voron were enough to send me off looking for 2.4 kits.
Why 2.4? I think the flying gantry looks cool.
Why Formbot? Cheaper than LDO and they’ve apparently made huge improvements in the kit parts. So, I ordered last week and the box came today. The Dragon HF hotend shipped separately and also arrived this morning.
What about printed parts? As of this writing I’m #1 in queue for PIF parts so I’m hoping I can get them printed and to me by the time I need them.
