#Extruder stepper skipping when raising flow to 10mm/s

Recently finished assembling my Stealthburner + Revo Voron toolhead with an SB2209 CAN board and the FilaMatrix mod. It extrudes just fine if I keep the extrude rate at 5mm/s but if I try to raise it to 10mm/s (as it's always been in the past), the stepper skips and the filament get all fat and squished when coming out of the nozzle. What could be the problem?
