I am using EBB SB2209 USB V1.0 and trying to hook that up in the Stealthburner. When I built it, it told me to put a three pin 5015 fan 24V in the top and a three pin 4010 24V in the bottom. The Bigtreetech EBB SB0000 USB V1.0 only has two pin connectors. What should I do? Is there a huge difference in the PIN numbers and should I get two pin fans instead or cut the wires and put two pin connectors for the fans? Or doI need the three pin connectors?

The third pin is a tachometer for the controller to sense how fast the fan is spinning. You can run fine without that. Just figure out which are +/-24v and leave the third wire disconnected.

Oh ok, thank you!!

It does look like the SB0000 has one pin labeled for tach. Probably would make most sense to put part cooling fan on that since the hot end fan would be running 100% all the time anyways.

It’s the USB version. It’s new I guess.

That’s the website but I wanted to make sure before I just did something. Didn’t want to jack my printer up.

The website does show a 4-pin connection. You could use the 3-pin on that. Just use the tach pin and leave the pwm pin unused. You'd have to resolder the board to change to 24v though. I don't use tach on any of my printers. It'll work completely fine without it.

Ok, I’ll just not use it. Think that’s my best option. I’ll use the two pin slots and change the connectors on the fans. Thanks for the help, greatly appreciate it!!
