I had gotten a few print beds off amazon year or two and it had a great aggressive textured bed (like 100 grit sandpaper visual) but they don't sell printer beds anymore. Its starting to flake the texture off after so many prints on it and I can not find anything to compare. All the printbeds now are a real fine texture (pretty much what came with the voron kits). Its very difficult to find aggressive texture beds just by looking at photos of products online so hoping some people on here might be able to weigh in.

We use the aggressive texture for the for our products we sell on etsy so I'm really hoping to find something that will work.

Just printed these today, black is Polymaker ABS, the “gray” is ABS-CF.

I actually bought this one 2 weeks ago! The texture is a little better than the standard (you are right) but I'm not sure why but I can't get a good first layer with it. Either its to close and has deformities on the first layer or if I microstep the nozzle further away, the texture fades away and it shows the rectilinear lines of the first layer. I've tried cleaning the bed with dish soap, rinsing it, then using 100% isopropyl alcohol on it and but still not great. Tried a new nozzle too. Soon as I put the aggressive texture bed on, it prints the first layer great. Not sure whats causing me so much trouble with this particular one.

I appreciate the link and photos!

I washed and isopropyl wiped a couple weeks ago, but nothing else. I run my bed at 105 for the ABS-CF and 110 for ABS, seems to have a pretty good first layer. I’m also running Beacon for mesh and Z offset every print. My chamber is about 60 or so, printing in my garage to assist in keeping it warm.
