#Really rough top surfaces

Hi. I have really rough top surfaces on my prints.

E-steps are calibrated (99.9mm) as is PA and most other things according to Ellis' guide. I muse have messed something up though.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Tune your em as per the Ellis instructions?

I'm pretty sure I did but I'll do it again.

Then the next thing to enable is one perimeter top layers. It will give more space for the top layer to spread out giving you slightly smoother results.

That was it indeed, many thanks. I had calibrated EM using the built in tool in orca slicer. Not using that again 🙂
