When I try to move the extruder, klipper would immediately shut down and the error message on the title appear.
The printer was working before but a latch on stealthburner has been broken so after few days, I replaced it and updated all softwares as well.
And then this issue happened.

Driver is TMC 2209 v4
Board is FYS Spider v3

I'm thinking this is a drivers issue because the reasons below;

  • The printer was working and I didn't change any wirings except for the one in stealthburner because I had to disassemble it to replace the latch. I checked the wirings just in case but it seems ok.
  • If I swap the driver on the error, the driver on the error would be different. (but I can't figure out a broken one yet)
  • I have been moving the extruder by hand time to time. I didn't go insanely fast because I know that people saying moving around the extruder by hand might kill your drivers. But I'm not sure how much would be too much so I might heve killed my drivers I guess? (but everyone do move it by hand sometimes right... or this is just me because I'm noob?)

So I'm thinking the drivers are causing the issue. I'm using TMC 2209 v4 drivers and I have 5 brand new drivers so I tried to replace the one on the error message with the new one but still not fixing and other driver would appear on the error. Sometimes it would even be the new one!

I already spent few weekends to solve this issue and not sure what should I do next.
Please someone help me to make this great printer working again.

Have you altered any config at all? Buzz motor Z3? (should be the front Right) to see which physical motor it is. Check the Power Jumper under the stepper driver (pull it out and reinsert it. The System Is Sensing no power on that driver. try 1. removing the driver and reseating it. also remove the wiring connector and reinsert again on both main board end and motor end.

Oh, I forgot to mention about the config.
I haven't changed any of printer.cfg neither since it was working, but warnings says updating software may be alter the configs.
I checked stepper pin configs but it seems no problem.

I just pulled the driver, jumper and connector out (I don't think I cannot pull out the moter end of the connecter though), and power the printer, shut down, then everything back to place and restarted.
Now, buzz z3 moter worked!!!
Huge appreciate to you!

But there's other problem, buzzing z1 and z2 moters seem not working. It won't immediately shut down but steppers look not moving at all...

it seems buzz stepper_x will cause shut down too...
