Looks extrusion related. I had a problem that looked like this (but worse) when my slicer reverted my nozzle diameter settings and I wasn't pushing nearly enough plastic to stay constant.
hmmmmm to much filament?
but what with the ticking soind i hear on the left side of the gantry?
yeah those lines on the flat surface look like overextrusion to me, about the clicking sound i don't know.
are you sure its comming from the gantry and not from the extruderskipping or something?
i never thought about extruderskipping
thats the smal gear thst is pushing right?
should i just extrude some filament while not moving and listen again?
it could be skipping some gears in the extruder, yes. try to tighten the tension screw on your extruder a bit and see if the noise is gone.
could also be that you are extruding to cold
hmmm nope printing already at the higter temp border its ranged from 230 to 240 and i am peinting 240 first alyer and rest 235
how do i find out if it is holding the filament tight enough and not to tight?
okay i am printing a big first layer and the only places where you can really feel it is at the front idler not at the toolhead
could the sound come fron thebholes on the linar rail?
What filament type is this?
Looks like it is slightly over extruding causing ripples for starters
If this is abs 230 to 240 is on the cold side.
printing petg
you can see the lines of the first layer
it is just not holding together...
and rist layer is already at 143%
ah ok
I would still consider that the lower side I print it at 265 myself
143 percent width?
You may need to lower your offset a little.
i did and when doing so the like gets pressed aside so it has that bunp in the middle
Too low then. I adjust mine by the thousandths.
uhhhh the zendstop ofset is now down from 6.2 to 5.6 uuhhhhhhhhhh how and why?...
Are you heat soaking at all
yes 5min
and i found anothe rproblem while printing big things the toolhead crashes into the klicky dock...
rn i am mooving the offset in the 0.005 area around
What was your infill % on the first prints you posted?
You commonly see that pillowing when you have a low infill %, and not enough top solid layers to get a smooth finish
30% infill top lqyers i think are 5
Well, it’s not pillowing then, maybe just over extrusion
is this usable as first layer?
i will tune exteusion a but down so on over extrusion but as fiest layer i thin kthis is good right?
nomehow the layer is now 0.24 thick not 0.2...
i really don't fucking get it
printing 140% firdt layer and noe while printing i set the xtrusion to 120%
why is it so shitty
what did i mis while calibrating my printer?
i already had some good prints and noe it is back to this
2fricking months passed and i am still at this point
