This new system recognizes members who speak and study multiple languages and gives them a dynamic rank within the community based on their linguistic profile.

🧠 How It Works
The system analyzes the language roles you have in the server and uses them to calculate a Polyglot Score.
Instead of being a simple counter, the system uses a weighted algorithm and server-wide comparisons to determine how your multilingual abilities rank among other members.
In other words, your rank reflects how you compare to the entire community, not just the number of languages you list.
As more members join and update their language roles, the rankings adapt and evolve over time.
📊 Polyglot Tiers
Members are placed into one of several tiers:
🔹 E – Beginner Polyglot
🔹 D – Emerging Polyglot
🔹 C – Skilled Polyglot
🔹 B – Advanced Polyglot
🔹 A – Elite Polyglot
👑 S – Master Polyglot
Each tier represents a different level of multilingual presence within the server.
The highest tiers are extremely rare and reserved for the most impressive polyglots in the community.

It periodically recalculates rankings across the entire server, meaning:

Every week, the community’s activity will be analyzed to determine who contributed the most to the multilingual spirit of the server. At the end of the week, one member will rise above the rest and earn the prestigious Polyglot of Polyglots role.
But this isn’t just about being active — it’s about how you participate.
Members who score higher in the system are those who:

One of the most powerful ways to boost your score is through custom invite links.

At the end of each week, the highest-scoring member will earn the Polyglot of Polyglots title.

How to use it
Just type s!recommend in any channel and get personalized language suggestions based on your current language roles. You can also check someone else's with s!recommend @user.
How it works
We trained a machine learning model on the language combinations of 76,000+ members of this server. It learned the patterns — which languages people tend to learn together, which ones complement each other, and what natural learning paths look like.
It's not random. If you speak English and Portuguese, it knows that Spanish, German, and Japanese are the most common next picks among people like you. If you're studying Korean, it knows there's a 56% chance you'll also pick up Japanese.
Behind the scenes it uses:
- A neural network (Variational Autoencoder) that understands language learning patterns
- Collaborative filtering — finding the 50 most similar polyglots to you and learning from their choices
- A language co-occurrence graph built from real data showing which languages are learned together
- Language family diversity — it won't just recommend 5 Romance languages, it spreads across families
- Your proficiency levels matter — being Native in Spanish produces different results than Studying it
