Spent while trying to make an adult looking head using reference images of Yixuan Shifu. Does this look adult like?

I would say so yeah, I think it depends more on the body than anything tho, plus it's also more of a style thing
To me, this could be a teenager but it's leaning more towards young adult, if this helps

(Just looked at the character you are using for a reference, you could make the eyes smaller by lowering the upper lids if you wanted it to be more similar to that style)

Thanks, adopted the proportions from a tutorial video by SomeRandomArtist and adjusted them for older, mature looking positions

I don't know who Yixuan Shifu is, but as someone who ISN'T an anime artist, if you want to know what people will think right away, they'll probably think preteen/early teens.

Big eyes in art tend to portray youth, while narrower eyes give maturity.

No I think it looks too young, more like they're 15 - 20 years old. I dunno who is Yixuan Shifu but if its male. I suggest making the chin rounder and wider a bit. But by the eyelashes it should be female so I think you should do the same with the chin but bit wider around 1 to 2cm I'm not sure
Second is the cheeks, the cheeks on the left looks unatural for teen or adult. If its at peak adult from 20 to 30yo. I think you should make that curved line wider, away from the eye a bit. Since at the age of adults they're mostly filled out
