How do I position and draw the hands?

I've been trying to figure where are the hands supposed to go for a while now💔
I could rlly use some help

I'd say the hands go here, I did 'em very simplistic but it's basically like this.

I think it's mostly the way you did the arm that confused you, the elbow is a bit too low, or the way you did the dress (without any no folds) makes it look that way, since you can't tell were the elbow is really supposed to be in that manner. (I also think their arm is a bit too short, but this angle of the arm is hard to accomodate to correct proportions, so I'm not sure lol).
