It took me a minute to notice the horns. It looks more like the forehead. You could fix that by putting it more on the top of the head.
Same as #2 said. The horns are wayy to similar to the skin, really hard to notice
Try emphasizing the shadow on the left half of the face, since it looks like the light is coming from the right side- moving the shadow closer to the nose would also help.
Furthermore, the shadow beneath the hair and nose are two different colors, it's confusing at first glance, try sticking to similar colors ( ╹▽╹ )
Sick job on the hair render tho
Hii!
I would advice you to work on emphasizing the shadows and lights. but you need to reference a graph of the plains of the head to know where to add light.
Also try adding a more saturated color around the areas where light hits skin. Skin is mildly translucent and causes that effect.
Also, just as the head you should manage the horns as 3d objects. Try adding guide axis for extra shapes that can be complicated to understand flat.
As an extra general tip, please take references of materials or parts of the body, it will help you improve faster ówo.
Lastly I'd like to say you nailed the hair part ^^ And proportions of the face fit well c:
(sorry if english is wonky, Here's a version where I added some of the details mentioned, sorry if it comes out as rude. It has a bit of my style so it doesn't need to be exactly like that ^^))
It's supposed to be that way. I thank you for noticing
I was still working on the color of the horns there and I appreciate you pointing it out
I appreciate you taking your time to explain and show me what you meant visually, including your advice!
- The art below is the finished version before I saw your message, and I'm wondering if I fixed anything of what you've pointed out that needed improvement
