I’ve just finished this new illustration, and I’m looking for some advice on what could be improved. I don’t like shirt though, and it feels a bit flat… but any suggestions and critique regarding my work is very welcome! Thank you in advance and happy new year!

peak, but you can do the method of flipping the canvas and fixing things that look off, and flipping it again

The face structure seems off(aka it's not fleshy enough, appears flat) and the eyes look too 2d since they're not curving with the face. About the shirt you've mentioned - I'd curve the collar around the neck. Looking at cups could help with understanding how the sweater would work.(A weird comparison, I know). I love the shading though, you seem to understand how light works really well.

Hahaha, amazing example, really. Thank you very much! I see what you mean, yeah. I kinda rushed the eyes a little bit since… I don’t know how to draw them that well 😅 curving the collar was my original intention but I couldn’t quite make it work so… I just left it the way it is. I’ll try redrawing now, once I understand the problem, and I think I’ve finally found some use for those 3 cups I received for Christmas… )
