Hi, so ive been trying to sell commissions for 3 years now. Ive made multiple commission sheets, posted my work and commissions on every platform and even built up a small following on instagram but ive never gotten a real commission before. Its either people begging me to draw for them for free or scammers and im sick of it. Ive tried so many different ways of getting my art out there and unfortunately none of it has paid off. Ive tried everything i could think of and nothing has worked. Does anyone have any advice for me?
Also here is my current commission sheet and some of my work

Sorry to say, but it do be like that, especially nowadays in the era of Ai, commission work seems scarce, I've seen over and over again artist complain of the same issue because well, if you don't have a big following (and even then it isn't a guarantee), it is hard to come across anyone willing to spend money on a commission.
My only advice is that you keep trying to grow your social media accounts, it will be very slow, as you're most likely aware, even if you do things like drawing trends or just anything related to what the art community seems interested in general on social media, but also, if you have considered it before, don't lower your prices, it's not worth it, it will at most get some people a little more interested, but if you ever get a commission by doing it that way, you'll just be working a lot, for too little.

Your all artworks are really good and the leandro said it's true so I would say attract the audience and can give you tips that instead of telling the price and everything attract the audience first by your artwork show them what you can do the best but also what they want what's trending what they like which will stop them and look at your art and scroll to your other works and go to your profile so I would say don't attract customers but the audience and in that audience you'll find some customers

And also use freelancing services

ill say what i always say, it aint your fault

its all based on algorithms and visibility, theres not much you can do besides keep posting and hoping it reaches the right people
times have been hard for people since 2020, art is a luxury and its unfortunately the first thing that gets thrown out. especially since you can prompt art now

#

just keep trying, im sure you'll find people who will want art paid from you
