First of all, I gotta say, I LOVE UR ART! The shading, the comic circles, it’s all very pleasing to the eye! However, when you are shading, you are just using the darker version of the same color without changing the hue. I suggest that you should shift the hue color as you get darker/lighter for more visual interest!
My example is rather an extreme (and scribbly) version, and you don’t have to be that abrupt! Try to add some purples, blues, yellows, reds… and you can add more contrast from the figures in the background. Ignore the way I scribbled on the memory-like person in the background, I completely messed that up (personal skill issue)
