Use " add" blending mode for harsh lighted areas and "multiply" for dark areas
But don't over use them ❤
thank you!
try adding some depth through the color of your shading. as you get into darker areas of the face try shifting hues a little bit too. obviously you don’t have to do this but i find it adds a little more intrigue
thanks ill try!

The nose is a little short
I rounded out the face a little, and I added harder highlights and shadows
And I added more volume to the ponytail
The rest of the hair could also probably use more volume but I didn’t think abt it
@lyric hedge I hope this helps :)
ah her ponytail is suppose to be smaller cause her hair is less
yes thank youu
Ahh, I see
there are some oddities with her hand. like, either the pinky on her left, your right hand is too big, or that is the ring finger i'm seeing and her actual pinky is missing.
it is an extremely hard hand pose to draw even for experts, so i'd say follow a ref closely
also take a look at the hand on her shoulder
Idk, I didn’t bother messing with the hands because I draw very cartoony hands
I didn’t think I’d be much help
lol
woops sorry about that, thought you were op
@lyric hedge
ah the problem was i used my own hands cause i could fine any refs like this so thanks ill keep it in mind because this was a redraw of a drawing i did
lol
