Try experimenting with weird or interesting color palettes, different from what you would usually use
I did try experimenting with no reference here, but didn’t like the result that much hahah
That’s pretty good and I liked it. And whether you liked it or not, only people that step out of their comfort zone are those who will improve and you just did that 👏. Also using references is very useful for building your own mental library, now try to do draw from a reference but using completely different colors
