I feel like my art is lacking something or I'm doing something wrong. It feels emotionless to me. Like more of a sticker than an actual art piece. I’m not great at backgrounds either, but even without them, it seems kinda flat or meaningless. How do I fix that?

Try making it darker around the intersecting points in the lineart! I'm sure it'd help with the flatness, also maybe some reflecting lights would look good!
Like you can colour the shadow you make on your character of the surrounding colours a bit (just a smidge of airbrush) and It might help with it looking a bit more dynamic! Though your art is already very nice to look at! Keep it up! ^^
Dunno what you're talking about, I don't think it looks emotionless at all
Maybe you feel like the characters look flat because the lighting is mostly just flat and without much contrast. You can't make up the structure of something fi the lighting is basically the same from all sides, so if you could try to learn how to crate appealing illustrations using lighting
