#WHY ARE LEGS SO COMPLICATED

Look for "contrapposto art technique" on google, it's gonna help you make the pose more dynamic (if you already knew about that you should exagerate it a little more)
-
The problem of the legs is that they lack depht. If you are trying to make it similar to the ref, you should see that the leg is not facing on the front, but it's turned (the entire figure is). You should make the leg look turned too.

Idk if you used guidelines. If you didn't, use them, if you did, you should make them more similar to the reference (while still keeping the character's features)

Give some volume to that hair!!

I like the whole roundy style, but think you should make it less round to make it look better. Don't use the circle thing to make perfect circles, it looks a lil unnatural...something that I do which might be helpful for mobile users (I am a mobile user too) is to sketch irl, get that sketch to ibis paint and then draw over it. Sketching on mobile is VEEERY hard
Wait I just realised the thing I js sent is kinda wrong. Fixed it
I completely agree with this all yes!! Agree on all fronts^
I’ll add my 2¢ about anatomy too hehe
It’s all about knowing the base and different shapes and parts. Knowing where the source of movement and parts stem from anatomically is a major step.
I’ve added here how I personally do my guidelines, as everyone does it a little differently
I always break mine down into the fundamental shapes and go from there
And yeah! The hair volume like he said will add a ton of life
OOOOH OKAY!!
Sorry I didn’t see this sooner, I forgot that I posted this and now most of the piece is complete 😭
I’ll keep this in mind for my future artwork tho!!! Tysm for the tips

Ty also!! I’ll keep all these tips in mind :D
Btw yeah ur right abt me not using the guidelines, I still need to work on that LOL 😭
