I am working on this Mike Mignola inspired poster of my original characters and story. This is for my class, and Im not sure how I should color this. I feel like some oranges like a sunset, or a mystical green could work but I am still unsure and want some advice. Also if you have any critiques of things I should change to make the piece work better as a whole, I would like that criticism as well.
#What color scheme would work best for this poster?

Warm colors
That's all I suggest
I don't have much experience with color theory 🥲
But maybe a more limited color scheme, like a complimentary color scheme, to go with the high contrast that the lineart has
But the overall composition is great, looks like a triangle composition to me; great job on that; the whole piece directs the viewer's eyes towards the focal point, which ofc is the character at the middle
Thanks, it’s supposed to be a nighttime scene, but I really wanted to use those bright warm colors
thanks for the advice
You're welcome
I tried out the red and orange and really like it, thanks for the feedback, I still have to finish it but ive started my second one now
