Where am I going wrong with proportions

Anyone have any tips on how I can make faces less wonky looking 😂 I just feel like the angle is so off and it doesn’t look right

Do you make sketches before you start drawing? I hope you don't mind me doing this, but just by me doing the head sketch, I was able to see two issues, the face angle isn't right, it should be in the same direction as the lines that go in the middle, and also, the head is too much to the left, the neck should be centralized.

by doing sketches you can catch wrong proportion issues before you start doing the meat of the drawing, which then takes ages to redo, it also helps you with just having that sense of noticing wrong stuff ahead of time
