I’ve recently been revamping my style, and have been messing around a lot, and would like any critique for this peice
(The white lines may or may not stay, I don’t really know at the moment, do you think they should stay?)
Note: yes, the lines are really really messy, but when I was adding more neat lineart, it just looked like doodoo, so I kept the lines as the sketch, but idk whether that works or not
#Critique for new art style!

Id say the sketch lineart looks good, you should keep it in
u shouldnt believe in different artstyles because u dont need to chase a specific thing to get it,u already get an artstyle the second u call urself an artist just like ur born instantly with specific hair color. also i like ur drawing but u gotta add some anatomical details to the feet and ur control for edges is amazing, the way u drew the skeleton is high quality tbh
The main thing that sticks out to me is that some of the shadows aren't dark enough; I'm assuming there's one light source in the scene, so the parts where no light gets to should be really close to black
But the darkest value you have (on the person) is still just a medium grey
Alr, I made some of the shadows a little more dramatic, how’s that looking?
Oh heck yea looks much better 👍
Wow its better
