Greeting, So yesterday I began my journey to learn drawing by myself at 19 (I know late) and started with drawing circles, triangels and boxes. After that I tried to draw a portrait of my favourite fictional character.
My idea now would have been to continue practicing forms for roundabout 2-3- days.
In addition I want to draw that specific portrait every day at the end of my practice so I keep beeing motivated and can see maybe my progress over time.

Is that a good plan or would you recommend something different?
I can also post my first drawing (not the best I know) if interested, I'd be happy about all feedback🫡
Do you guys have tips to practice linework? As you can see in my picture it's still messy and I often can't find the right angle etc. etc.

Thank you!🫶

Hello! So, I may be able to help to a point. There is a website called line of action that I started to use. Its basically A huge drawing site where you can draw anything related to human figures, shapes, animal, perspective, etc. there is also site called drawabox. There is nothing wrong with practice, but at some point, you may want to do still life drawings or painting.

Heads up! you have the option to draw what you like, They include human nudes for figure drawing. Be aware of that.

I would also say try and include at some point learning shading/light and dark because just understanding simple things like this can really really help a drawing - but your original plan sounds good for a start catheart - ever need any help just lmk
