hmmm so i can see that you are going For stylizaion of some sort
going by the character you created if im gonna be breaking down the shapes i can see in your drawing this is how ild break down the shape of your character since i do not know yje reference you used
one of the best measurement for cartoonish characters is usually they must be between 7 to 5 of their had shape tall
5 is usually for kids or short adults and 7 is usually for talll adults or grown ups but in the world of cartoon, that can be stylized and exaggerated to preference
so im not saying its a bad character design bt left to me ill darw this character waay different ly and give her a different or well formed shape language

if i were to create your character maybe i would have gone this route just a quick sketch to explain
from the pose to the gesture to the silhouette to the shape language .
when you have the basic shape forms and fundamentals of creating a cartoon stylized character down, the whole appeal of the character comes to life
cause when you look at my silhouette youll see that you can guess what shes doing from just the simple dark shade alone, but if i were to make a silhouette of yours hmm, there might be a problem guessing the action, great effort on the designing, nice job,
