it's giving 2015 because that's like, the era of animation memes and beginner artist uploading their drawings, basically, you've got an beginner style, everyone draws similarly like this when they're starting, see the similarities?
there's a lot you need to learn to start beginning, I could talk about color, background, anatomy etc, but I just recommend you start doing complex poses and doing a lot of experimentation, just try a lot of stuff even if you don't know if it's going to look good, or if it's going to be easy to make.
It's a good way to start finding your style, where you want to go, and at the same time, challeging yourself to improve.
And by complex poses I mean it envolves quite a bit of perspective, a lot of the issues any beginner artist face is the static poses, I myself have a lot of uh, that in my old drawings
yeah, that makes sense. im better with paper and pencil but trying out digital art for the first time is rough for me. idrk what style i have bc it changes every art session so its difficult. BUT i do get what you're saying about experimentation. ill try that out. THANK U SO MUCH!!
Dont just jump into anatomy right away. When you start drawing, you should do a cartoonish style most of the time, then get used to anatomy(this isnt a rule though, just a faster way to learn art) and Also, you can resize the art if its too small. It will make it look less simple and plain.
anatomy is hard for me lol- im hoping i can get better tho. ive been doing art for years and it just feels like i haven't made any progress, but thank u sm for giving me advice :)
So, heres the easiest way, use the circle tool for the head and draw a rectangular shape for the body. That's what I do most of the time and it does work (tho it might be because of the app I use to draw)
okay! ill try that 🥳🥳
genuinly not being tryna be rude or anything
but i dont understand how that would work/help?/gen
If you rush into anatomy sometimes it makes you loose a sense of style or form so it can lead to you instead just copying anatomy rather than applying it to your own pieces/learning it (hope this helps)
thanks!<3
i see what you meen its important to practice anatomy alongside how to stretch and pull it!
id only worry ppl wouldnt get that part and just ignore it
but if it works that's all that matters! ≽^•⩊•^≼
thanks again for taking the time to explain
No worries! Ever need any help just lmk
so, basically, if they jump right into the big part it's gonna be hard and they'll eventually get bored. If they begin from an easy artstyle they can start and get used to anatomy easier. It's like telling a 1st grader to do 8th grade math
that explains why i found it confusing lol
cuz i am absolutely the persom who was in first grade and was trying to do 8th grade math 😭
[well i think it was actuallu 4th grade doing 8th but yk what i meen]
math doesnt really change that much from 4th to 8th grade anyway
